2023 was an absolutely spectacular year! There were so many firsts and so many reasons to be grateful. My world grew in leaps and bounds as In the Hands of Women entered the world. I met so many excellent writers, readers, and event planners that I can barely keep up with my calendar. Who knew this big, amazing world was waiting for me after retirement. Could this even be called retirement? I don't know if I ever have worked so hard.
Threadbare is in its final polishing for a May 2024 launch. It tells the story of Tillie, Hannah's older sister, and how she rose from poverty in the Lower East Side of New York City. I am chomping at the bit for the cover reveal, one of the most gratifying parts of publishing.
Check out my event page, too. I am involved in many new programs this winter and spring, including a book talk in Saint Thomas USVI and several Lower East Side walking and book tours. How much fun is that? See where the characters lived, worked, and shopped.
In the meantime, I thank all of you for your support this year and wish you good health, joy, and the excitement of trying something new in 2024!
